The Hilaris Chamber Orchestra is dedicated to delivering the finest in classical music, creating and interpreting musical works as the composer intended, and providing concert-goers with an extraordinary experience. The name “hilaris” comes from Latin, meaning “joyful”. Under the direction of Alan Vizváry, the Hilaris Chamber Orchestra achieved significant recognition in February 2020 by winning the gold medal at the Vienna International Music Competition, competing against hundreds of artists from around the world. Founded by violinist Alan Vizváry, who studied in Vienna under the tutelage of the Vienna Philharmonic’s first concertmaster, Prof. G.
